Jewel Carlisle is a Master’s level Licensed Eligible Clinician for Hope Haven Psychological Resource. Mrs. Carlisle received her Bachelor’s of Psychology from University of Indianapolis and her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Christian Theological Seminary. Mrs. Carlisle is currently pursuing her licensure in Marriage and Family Therapy.
Mrs. Carlisle remains interested in working within many theoretical approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Gottman Method, and Collaborative Therapy. She enjoys utilizing a solution-focused model, which allows clients the ability to create their solution, while instilling hope to their situation. Mrs. Carlisle is very adamant in creating a safe environment for clients. She recognizes the privilege of sitting with clients as they rediscover themselves.
She believes that it is imperative to establish a supportive therapeutic pairing as the foundation for clients to begin their healing journey. Mrs. Carlisle’s previous experience has given her the exposure of working in the areas of abuse, trauma, neglect, anxiety and addiction for the last 8 years. She has experience providing therapy for a diverse population including individuals, families, and children with varying backgrounds and resources.
