Doctoral Level Mental Health Clinician

Dr. Love is a Doctoral Level Mental Health Clinician in the State of Indiana. She holds a Doctorate of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from the University of Indianapolis. Dr. Love received her Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Ball State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Philosophy from the University of Indianapolis. Dr. Love completed her Pre-doctoral Internship from APA Accredited, The National Psychology Training Consortium – Great Lakes Region. 
 
Dr. Love’s clinical approach is informed primarily by Cognitive Behavioral, Interpersonal, and Client-Centered therapeutic practices and interventions.  However, she often maintains an integrative approach that also adheres to the theoretical ideals and principles of Psychodynamic and Systems theory when able.  This allows Dr. Love to gain a holistic perspective of her clients’ needs while also directly addressing the client’s initial concerns. 
 
Clinically, Dr. Love offers a therapeutic setting etched with solid rapport, acceptance, respect, and emotional safety.  There is intentionality in the therapeutic space she provides as there is hope of eliciting meaningful self-disclosure, personal insights, and valuable self-discovery.  Dr. Love has proven dedicated to providing the community in which she serves with quality therapeutic care that results in her clients feeling heard, understood, and with greater awareness of their most authentic Self.  Specifically, with regard to their self-perception, worldview, and quality of interpersonal engagement.  
 
Dr. Love has provided therapeutic and/or evaluative services in numerous settings including schools, community mental health, private practice, residential treatment centers, and acute care facilities. 
 
Dr. Love strongly believes that regardless of societal expectations or personal idiosyncrasies, everyone is entitled to a supportive and empathetic opportunity for healing.
