Dr. Tami Harris is a licensed mental health counselor and board-certified art therapist with over 20+ years of experience supporting individuals, families, and groups through healing, growth, and self-discovery. She specializes in trauma-informed therapy, art therapy, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and identity development, using evidence-based and creative approaches to meet each client’s unique needs. 

Dr. Harris integrates Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) with expressive arts interventions to help clients process experiences, build coping skills, and reconnect with their strengths. Her therapeutic style is compassionate, collaborative, and strengths-based, creating a safe space for clients to explore emotions, reduce distress, and move toward meaningful change. 

She holds a PhD in Psychology (Education specialization) from Walden University, a Master of Art Therapy from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Indianapolis. Her clinical background includes work in hospital, residential, outpatient, school-based, shelter, and home-based settings, serving diverse populations across the lifespan. 

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Harris has spent two decades teaching and supervising mental health professionals and art therapy students. Her work is deeply informed by her research and professional interest in self-actualization and personal growth, empowering clients to reach their fullest potential.
