Educational/ Professional:
Alexis is a compassionate and thoughtful therapist who is committed to creating a safe, affirming space where clients feel seen, understood, and supported. She works with youth, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, relational challenges, trauma, and difficulties related to identity and life transitions.
Alexis practices from a humanistic and psychodynamic framework, with a strong emphasis on trauma-informed care. She believes in understanding the deeper emotional patterns, early experiences, and relational dynamics that shape how individuals move through the world. She also integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients develop practical coping skills and insight into unhelpful thought patterns.
When working with children and adolescents, Alexis incorporates play therapy and developmentally appropriate interventions to help young clients express emotions, process experiences, and build emotional regulation in ways that feel natural and engaging. She values meeting youth where they are and partnering with caregivers to support growth both inside and outside of the therapy space.
Alexis takes a collaborative, strengths-based approach to therapy and believes healing happens through authentic connection, curiosity, and compassion. Her goal is to support clients in developing deeper self-awareness, emotional resilience, and healthier relationships.
Outside of the therapy room, Alexis enjoys traveling, comedy shows, discovering new coffee shops, and spending meaningful time with loved ones.
